What payment options are available?

At Vandeca.com, you can pay with Bancontact, iDEAL, Mastercard, and VISA.

Can I still change or cancel my order?

That depends on the status of your order. As long as your order has not yet gone into processing or production, we can often still help. Therefore, please contact us as soon as possible via contact@vandeca.com.

I haven't received a confirmation email, what now?

First, please check your spam or junk email folder. Found nothing? Then contact us and we will be happy to check if your order has been processed correctly.

Can I personalize products with a name, text, photo, or logo?

Yes, you can add a personal touch to various products on Vandeca.com. Depending on the product, this could include text, a name, an image, a photo, or a logo.

How does personalization work?

For customisable products, you can use the online design tool. There, you'll immediately see a digital preview of your design and can build your customisation step by step.

Should I check my design myself?

Yes. For personalised products, you are responsible for correctly checking text, spelling, images, positioning and general layout before ordering. Small differences between the digital preview and the final product may occur due to screen display, material or printing limitations.

Can I return a personalized product?

Personalised products made to your specifications or clearly intended for a specific person are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

Can I upload any image or logo?

No. By uploading a design, photo or logo, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to use this content. Uploads may not infringe on copyrights, trademark rights, portrait rights, or other third-party rights.

What exactly does Vandeca sell?

Vandeca focuses on chocolate, sweets, biscuits, snacks, and gift products with an original or personal added value. This includes gift boxes, metal storage tins, seasonal products, and customisable concepts for private individuals and businesses.

Are the product photos always exactly the same as what I receive?

We do our best to display products as accurately as possible. However, colours, packaging, or small finishing details may vary slightly. For food products, the information on the physical packaging always takes precedence.

Where can I find ingredients, allergens and nutritional values?

For food products, we try to display as much product information as possible on the website. However, the information on the physical packaging always remains decisive, for example regarding ingredients, allergens, nutritional values, shelf life, and storage instructions.

How are fragile products packaged?

We take great care in packaging our orders. Fragile products receive extra protection where necessary to ensure they are shipped as safely as possible.

When will my order be delivered?

For items in the categories chocolate, sweets, cookies & snacks, and gifts, the indicative delivery table below applies to Belgium and the Netherlands.

For products in the personalisation category, this standard delivery table does not apply. Personalised orders for Belgium and the Netherlands first have a processing time of 1 to 2 working days, after which shipping follows.

For France and Germany, an indicative delivery time of 3 to 5 working days applies to both personalised and non-personalised orders.

Delivery times are always indicative. During busy periods, public holidays, or delays with the carrier, delivery may exceptionally take longer.

Is delivery free?

Yes, for orders over €75, you benefit from free delivery. For orders under this amount, shipping costs may vary depending on the delivery address, the chosen carrier, and the selected shipping method. The exact shipping costs will always be clearly displayed during checkout.

Which shipping carrier will deliver my order?

Orders for Belgium are usually delivered by bpost or PostNL and for the Netherlands by PostNL. Other carriers may also be used for other countries or logistical situations.

Can I choose a delivery slot myself?

At the moment, it is not possible to choose a specific delivery time. For orders in Belgium and the Netherlands, you can select delivery to a PostNL pick-up point under ‘Shipping’ during checkout, if that option is available.

Will I receive a track & trace?

Yes. As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email with a track & trace link.

What if I'm not home for the delivery?

The carrier may attempt a second delivery, deliver the parcel to a neighbour, or make it available at a pick-up point. Therefore, always check your tracking information first.

My package hasn't arrived, now what?

First, check your track & trace, see if the package was delivered to a neighbour or a collection point, and then contact us if the issue is not resolved.

Who is responsible for delivery?

The risk of loss or damage remains with Vandeca until the moment you or a third party designated by you physically takes receipt of the package. Delays or practical delivery problems may be caused by the carrier.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return my order?

Yes, for non-excluded products, a right of withdrawal of 14 days after receipt of the goods generally applies.

You must communicate your decision to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days. After that, you must also return the goods within the statutory period.

Because Vandeca works with food products and other goods with a limited shelf life, the right of return is not unlimited, and statutory exceptions apply to certain products.

Who pays for return shipping?

The direct costs of returning the goods are, in principle, for the account of the consumer, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Which products can I not return?

This applies, among other things, to personalised products, products with a limited shelf life, perishable goods, and sealed products that are not suitable for return for hygienic or health reasons once the seal has been broken.

When will I get my refund?

After a valid cancellation, we will refund the amount due as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days after we have received your cancellation notification. In practice, the refund usually occurs as soon as the return shipment has arrived at our premises. In accordance with the law, the refund can be processed as soon as we have received the goods or as soon as you have demonstrated that you have returned them, whichever comes first.

Please contact us as soon as possible at contact@vandeca.com and, if possible, provide clear photos and your order number. This will help us assist you more quickly.

How quickly should I report a problem?

It is best to report complaints or defects within a reasonable period after discovery. According to our terms and conditions, a report within five working days is in any case considered timely.

Do I have a legal warranty?

Yes. Consumer goods are covered by the legal guarantee as provided for in Belgian consumer law. For food products, shelf life and correct storage instructions are also taken into account.

Can I also order as a company?

Yes. Vandeca also offers options for business orders, corporate gifts, and personalized products with a logo or message.

Can I enter a VAT number?

Yes. For business orders, you can enter your VAT number. If the VAT number is valid and the tax conditions are met, the VAT scheme can be applied in accordance with the applicable regulations.

Can I request larger quantities or a quote?

Yes. For larger volumes, corporate gifting projects, or customisation, please contact us directly. This way, delivery times, prices, and personalisation options can be specifically tailored to your project.
